An Idiot Leads with Ego and Only a Doomed Fool will Follow Him - Verico the Mortgage Station
One of the most dangerous issues when dealing with an egocentric person, such as a narcissist or a pathological liar, is that they see nothing wrong with ANYTHING they do, and they have no issue with dragging innocent others into their criminal and ethical abuses and then 'throwing them under the bus' to save themselves.
Katherine Dudtschak, the new President and pending CEO of HomeEquity Bank, is now firmly linked by Google to loan sharking and other criminal and ethical breaches of trust, which makes us ask if she is next in line to be 'run over' by the loan sharks of Lefroy.
Donald Trump has been assessed by hundreds of psychologists to be both a narcissist and a pathological liar, and he has repeatedly stepped aside in his own best interests to watch about a dozen of his most loyal sycophants crash and burn in every criminal or civil court that has reviewed the evidence of how they "acted in coordination and at the direction of individual one". Then there are the thousands of convicts who were for the most part productive members of society before being used as cannon fodder in Trump's attempted coup d'état at Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021.
Narcissists and pathological liars can draw others to them and convince their minions to follow a path of self-destruction.
After two years of hiding, the uncontested and confessed crimes of one mortgage broker have managed to drag colleagues, otherwise not associated multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations, and even the easily 'motivated' South Simcoe Police Service into a cesspool of onging and growing exposure that none of them will face, nor take action to defend against our allegations, and now they don't know how to escape.
For reasons we have never understood, the management teams at Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank jumped in feet first to back up their allies at Verico the Mortgage Station despite knowing the brokers were guilty of an indictable offence for loan sharking.
That 'logic' started two full years ago when one of the guilty parties thought that our Producer, an international journalist and experienced defender of civil rights, would simply give up if everybody just ignored him.
Both Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank were provided with unredacted copies of the evidence which established concisely through both bank and brokerage documentation that Renee Dadswell charged 198.25% interest on a short-term loan, which is an indictable offence under the Criminal Code of Canada and punishable by a prison term of up to five years. Likely out of a desire to cover their own best interests, both corporations dug in their heels and chose to maintain their loyalty to the criminals, rather than protecting the interests of their client, a senior and veteran. Then, the HomeEquity Bank tried and failed to sensor our ability to tell the story through the fraudulent application of copyright laws that do not pertain to journalists. Is that truly all this multi-billion-dollar bank could do to silence a small, not-for-profit, social enterprise, community media service from exposing what the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station claim is libelous defamation, but which they will not challenge based on the evidence in any court.
What could the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station have over them that could cause Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank to do their dirty work while groveling to these subcontractors like well-trained dogs?
If we were wrong in our calculations of the illegal interest charged or our assessment of the law, either or both of these professional financial corporations would have simply told us how through an email or a phone call. However, instead they hid, and have continued to do so for more than two years, which is not exactly an indication of innocence. Now, after two full years of denial, this story links to all three companies through the search engines like a beacon to their shared unethical behaviour. Some connections come through the older files that are no longer indexed on our Five Points Media website, but which redirect visitors to the new counterparts on this dedicated domain. Others point directly to the evidence and facts on this page.
We are now purchasing multiple mirror domains that will carry the same articles and videos, multiplying exposure as their content will also appear in Google searches alongside the currently hosted versions.
Those new websites will be registered as being in other provinces and territories, east, west, and north. By doing this, we can ensure that we are able to warn all potentially vulnerable senior clients seeking services from brokerages in their regions who are working under the flag of Verico Financial Group Inc. or who sell products for HomeEquity Bank, both of which are knowingly doing business with and assisting to conceal the crimes of the easily proven loan sharks at Verico the Mortgage Station which are being committed against their mutual clients.
The new websites will take literally no time to update as the process is automated and multi-threaded, but they will increase our reach dramatically across all of Canada.
In a vacuous and ultimately abandoned threat of civil action, David Flude, tried and failed to bully us through a threat to sue directly the twenty-something year old apprentices and interns who help us to provide donated services to our community "It also should be noted that your posts demonstrate that there are staff and other people helping you both create the videos, stories and posts. As such, these people, once their names are disclosed, are also liable for the defamation . . . Every person who has helped you create the videos, images or posts are liable for the defamation that you have posted. There are numerous posts that repeat the above defamation or similar defamatory statements. Our response put a rather quick end to that threat, and caused the Gollum-like writer to crawl back into isolation."
What could justify a multi-million-dollar corporation being so afraid of a small, not-for-profit, social enterprise, community media channel that they will not legally challenge or even discuss the facts of our reporting?
The anonymous agent pseudonym behind which David Flude concealed his identity, threatened to file against us a court-scorned Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation (SLAPP) lawsuit. This kind of intimidation litigation has been admonished by the Supreme Court of Canada which described the tactic as "lawsuits brought by individuals and entities to dissuade their critics from continuing to produce negative publicity." Within his vacuous stream of huff, puff, and bluff, David Flude, while hiding behind anonymity, noted one of the reasons for the threatened lawsuit was because of our high level of interconnecting internal links, which he claimed is somehow doing harm to his business. That tactic of internal HTML coding is common, and it is very effective at attracting the search engines, which is why we did it. As a result, when people reference any of the participants in this scheme, including the South Simcoe Police Service detective who deleted evidence and falsified figures to assist the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station, they all show up high on page one of Google and other search engines, which was the goal.
That method takes time to become effective, as the search engines need to cross reference all the data, but it is safe to say we have now reached the critical mass of content that is needed for this technique to work well.
Most recently, we posted as part of an article just the name of the new President and pending CEO at HomeEquity Bank, and in just three days our pages popped up on page one of Google when referencing 'Katherine Dudtschak'. Not only was the data found within a very short period of time, but it also ranked at positions three, five, and seven on page one of Google, even though her name was included as content on only one of those pages.
The best result of this much cross-referencing is that now the search engines scan our pages daily, like any mainstream news service, rather than randomly.
We are sure that Katherine Dudtschak, who worked her way up based on her reputation, attaining positions on the Board of Trustees of United Way Greater Toronto, Jack.org, and the Museum of Human Rights, likely does not appreciate her name popping up in reference to a documentary about loan sharks in Lefroy, police officers who were somehow 'motivated' by multi-million and multi-billion-dollar companies to omit and falsify evidence, a county council that turned a blind eye to a business loan sharking seniors and veterans, and the fact that NONE of those accused businesses or entities have done ANYTHING to silence the story or contest our allegations because they are afraid to argue their claims of innocence in any court against our evidence of crimes and ethical breaches of trust.
The term 'guilty by association' sticks to the innocent as easily as the guilty, and it tends to be permanent.
We also doubt Katherine Dudtschak wants to inherit the legacy of Andrea Gonsalves, the lawyer and full partner from Toronto who threatened us with SLAPP litigation, if we did not stop exposing a slum lord who contributed to the death of a man to whom he rented a grossly inadequate uninsulated and poorly heated trailer during the winter. She did not like our reply, and you cannot type her name without learning about her failed unethical tactics of coercion.
Our reply also had quite an effect on the dozens of lawyers David Flude has apparently tried and failed to hire, as they have all run away immediately after reading it.
We did not and do not accuse Katherine Dudtschak of involvement or complacently in this two-year-old story of fraud, loan sharking, and corporate complacency, but simply noted her name in a letter we had sent to her and published here. What this shows, however, is that ANYBODY who becomes involved in this ongoing saga of indictable offences and evasion of criminal accountability will, by osmosis, almost immediately be linked to the crimes committed and the avoidance used as a 'defence' by David Flude, Lisa Purchase, and Renee Dadswell of Verico the Mortgage Station.
It is seems unlikely that the United Way, Jack.org, or the Canadian Museum of Human Rights will support a member of their board who is both President and CEO of a corporation accused of protecting loan sharks.
There was likely a time when those hiding from their own crimes and ethical breaches of trust could hope to convince others that they are the victims of some kind of scheme or complex criminal conspiracy, or whatever. However, that is clearly becoming harder every day as those who might have previously been fooled see that our Producer is NOT the 'agitator' and 'disgruntled' man depicted by David Flude to prospective clients. That trend turned a few months ago when a prospective woman client confronted David Flude for lying repeatedly and tore into him like a lioness emasculating a gazelle on the Serengeti.
"Mr. Flude. You truly must think people are stupid, and your explanation is insulting. After receiving your response I read everything Ironside posted about you and I watched all of his company's videos. His work is clean well produced and professional, unlike your accusations that appear vacuous unsupported and offensive to the intelligence of other people. If he was what you claim he would not be putting his name on his work, and you would have sued him a long time ago as he openly taunts you to do more times than I could count. I even went back to watch some of his other videos. The man has credentials from work all over the world and he was selected for an award for altruism in Barrie. nonetheless, you paint him as simply an agitator. You insult me sir as you do anybody to whom you tell that lie. You also fail to mention that those people he - agitated - all lost to his eviednce and several were convicted or fined as criminals. That means he was right, and it is why you will not fight him in court.. Have you watched any of the videos he has produced for the hundreds of charities that are not about your company? I doubt it, but I did. Not all 300 plus of them, but enough. He has worked with everybody from multiple mayors to the chiefs of police. That is one well-connected agitator. I once worked in the courts many years ago and clearly, your agitator is somebody who stands up as we all wish we could. I read through your cover story like you are stamped on tracing paper. As you can see I have copied this email in full to your agitator and i am granting Mr. Ironside my consent to use it as he wishes. I think he is doing a damned good job exposing you and your agents and I would even be happy to chat with him on camera. I am ever so glad I found his reporting about your business. I will also be asking if he can recommend an honest broker. Do not insult me again by trying to whitewash your actions. I will advise my friend of what I have learned and I doubt they will be coming to you for any renewals. i admit I have been angered by your deceptive response as i do not like being lied to. I do not want to hear back from you again. E."The full email can be found here.
We have countered the lies told by David Flude and presumably his brokers, by presenting documented facts, like how our Producer goes out three times a week to feed the homeless through boots-on-the-ground street outreach, and how for four and a half years our studio has been dedicated as a Pride Positive Space that provides a place of security for anybody feeling at risk. Most importantly, people can see that since 2014, our Producer and crew have donated more than $700,000.00 in services to our community through the production of more than 350 fully subsidized fundraising and educational videos to more than 180 charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent community groups which in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, led to our team being nominated and voted to the highest levels for an award for altruism presented by the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce and the City of Barrie.
Long-term ally to Pride, anti-racism activist, outreach volunteer to the homeless, continuous community support, and challenging injustice are hardly part of the resume of an 'agitator' who is 'disgruntled'.
We also have a hard-earned reputation for challenging abuse of authority, such as exposing the legally unsupported plans of the Mayor and Council of Barrie to ignore a Superior Court ruling that protects homeless encampments. We also exposed a well-connected con artist who defrauded twenty plus single mothers through a rental scam the Barrie Police Service refused to act upon, until our video hit social media. We were also threatened with a SLAPP lawsuit for exposing a slumlord who rented out a summer trailer to a desperate man during the winter that had no insulation or facilities, in which the tenant died. Again, politics and money protected the slumlord until we released the facts.
Exposing crimes of this nature is exactly what journalists are supposed to do, or at least those of us who are not corporate shills.
Given the facts, and the evidence that supports our claims, which is what is keeping the loan sharks and their allies from silencing this story through an already threatened abuse of civil litigation, we would be very surprised if the sticky association to loan sharks does not weigh heavily on the mind of Katherine Dudtschak, the new President and pending CEO of HomeEquity Bank, who through our letter has been made fully aware of our fully supported allegations against the corporation she now leads, and the fact that her management team has for two years been unable to defend their actions. Those around her might be willing to live in a world of self-delusion rather than face their crimes and ethical abuses; however, given her connection to and apparent passionate support of groups that support the poor and human rights, her now public association with loan sharks and con artists who drained the coffers of a benevolent not-for-profit social enterprise that donates all services to that very same community is not likely to fair well. Her entire reputation is now bound to the crimes and ethical shortcomings of the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station and the decision made by her management team to simply ignore the fully documented allegations of fraud by a client. For how long will these multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations continue to be led by the nose through a world of indictable offences by a lowly mortgage broker who is supposed to be working for them?
This is a clear-cut example of a tiny tail wagging the massive dog.
Although her predessor, Steven Ranson, seems to have been unfettered by that clandestine collusion, Katherine Dudtschak must decide if she will toe the line or run her entrusted financial institution in a manner that is ethical and proactive to crime and client concerns and complaints. Otherwise, hers will become known as the corporate bank that covers for client fraud as a matter of corporate policy, and that Katherine Dudtschak endorses that policy. Perhaps all those connected to this story should be thinking more about their own professional reputations rather than pandering to the self-delusions of some Oka from Muskoka who is too self-absorbed to take any action to defend his own name or those of his allies or brokers, but who is willing to sit back and watch as their reputations are destroyed due to his inability to defend the criminal actions of his brokers.
As the exposure increases due to our reporting, Katherine Dudtschak and her management team should be prepared to be "thrown under the bus" during the now inevitable mad scramble to avoid charges.
David Flude has demonstrated for two full years that he will never stand up like a man and admit that his brokerage committed crimes, or that he caused police to deflect the rightful course of justice, or that he tried and failed to hide from his own 'mistakes'. David Flude needs to file his threatened civil claim, preferably in his own name this time and not while hiding behind the nom de plume of an anonymous agent. He needs to present his claims against the evidence that he knows will prove the truth of our publicly made allegations that we have posted with no intent or desire to hide who we are.
If the Principal Broker at Verico the Mortgage Station will not do this, why are the 'professionals' higher up the food chain helping him to their own detriment?
