  1. Our articles have been online throughout the time shown above; however, we have not received a single challenge to our fully-supported alllegations.

  11. The South Simcoe Police Service is subject to pending investigation after omitting evidence and falsify figures to help the wealthy brokers.
  12. The Producer is 35-year media veteran who has worked as an international television news in places like Bosnia and the Middle East, and as the Deputy Editor of a national European newspaper owned by the Washington Times.

The Producer and crew of this exposé documentary represent a not-for-profit community channel that since 2014 has donated more than $700,000.00 worth of services to more than 185 local charities, not-for-profits, benevolent special interests groups, and the towns and villages of Simcoe County.

In this case, the trepidation being displayed by David Flude, Renee Dadswell, and Lisa Purchase, the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, and their allies W. Mark Squire, President and Chief Operating Officer, Verico Financial Group Inc. and Yvonne Ziomecki-Fisher, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales of HomeEquity Bank, is a self-protective response to evidence they know we have that proves both individual and collective criminal and ethical violations of public trust.

Why else would these multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations be so afraid of a small, not-for-profit, social enterprise, community media service?

We have fully substantiated, to the satisfaction of more Simcoe County residents than we can count, that Renee Dadswell, a broker licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) through Verico the Mortgage Station, defrauded our Producer, a senior, veteran, and well-known philanthropist, through usury, or loan sharking, and that her colleague, Lisa Purchase, and Principal Broker David Flude assisted her to commit and conceal the indictable offence that upon conviction carries with it a prison sentence of up to five years of incarceration.

What motivates choosing exposure, which costs hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential income, rather than facing the evidence in a public venue?

Further, we have shown how detectives of the South Simcoe Police Service knowingly and willfully omitted key financial evidence and falsified calculations to provide a “get out of jail ‘free’ card" for the multi-million-dollar brokers who have multi-billion-dollar friends. We cannot prove what 'motivated' that favour, and we will have to leave that judgement to our hard-working and tax-paying readership.

So far, no self-identified person or lawyer representing Verico the Mortgage Station, Verico Financial Group Inc., HomeEquity Bank, or even the South Simcoe Police Service, has contested any of our allegations or evidence.

The reason for that is regardless of the legal venue, be it an abusive and court-scorned Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation (SLAPP) lawsuit filed in civil court, or a further abuse of public trust through a misapplication of the criminal justice system, the evidence would be submitted to the court and a Judge or Justice would make a ruling based on the tangible and substantiated facts. That judgement or ruling would also be open to review by an appeals court, or by judicial review. Those falsely feigning innocence and abuse can huff, puff, and bluff all they want, but the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station and their allies at Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank know that the evidence and the facts support our allegations and not their version of reality. If that was not the case, those multi-million-dollar brokers and multi-billion-dollar allies would have silenced our story and successfully sued us many, many months ago. Instead, they have taken no legal action of any kind, and they appear, at least according to our visitor logs, to be experiencing difficulty retaining an appropriate lawyer or law firm.

Once that evidence is part of the public record, those who have knowingly violated the law by filing a vacuous civil claim or laying fraudulent criminal charges cannot unring that bell, and everything is open to the media.

During his time as an international journalist and social documentary producer, our Producer has been falsely and groundlessly arrested twice and sued several times, all at the hands of wealthy and influential people who thought the law did not apply to them. As he was able to argue the truth and support his claims with evidence, those corrupt corporations were exposed for abusing the authority of the court to try to silence stories about their own misdeeds. In every case, the Crown Attorney or the court itself dropped the charges, or they dismissed the civil action with costs against the perpetrator of the civil abuse. Contrary to the fictitious claims of David Flude, our Producer has filed exactly one civil action, against a former landlord who refused to fix a damaged furnace that caused mould to grow in the rented house. He won that case based on the evidence, which included input from the City of Barrie, and he won a significant order of costs. That is what court is intended to be used for.

In one case, as a self-represented defendant, he defeated nine seasoned lawyers from three Bay St. law firms, and in another, he obtained a life-long ban of future civil abuses through an order of ‘Vexatious Litigation”.

On December 27, 2023, David Flude, while trying to protect himself by pretending to be an ‘anonymous agent’ working on his behalf, sent to our Producer a lame, do-it-yourself, legally unsupported and frank embarrassing ‘Libel and Slander Notice’. Amongst its ridiculous demands was a line-in-the-sand threat that stated: “You have until January 5, 2024, to remove the defamatory statements and to post a retraction. In addition, given the repeated nature of your defamatory statements and effort you have made to contract third parties, you are required to contact each third party and retract your statements. Finally, you are required to publish a statement from the Station and from Station Brokers. These are the minimum steps you are required to take in order to mitigate the damages you have caused. Failure to comply will result in a claim against you and all your agents who have been a party to the defamation. Furthermore, we will seek an injunction to ensure you comply.

We did none of those things, as telling the truth is not libel, and more than 100 days later we still have not been served with a civil claim or notice of a motion seeking injunctive relief, and we are not holding our breath.

Think about how bad something has to be to willfully lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential income just to avoid defending their actions through an interview or in a court of law. People can see the truth, that our Producer is not the 'serial agitator' that David Flude claimed in an email to a prospective new client while he tried to convince her to hire him so he could collect a commission of about $8,000.00 on her mortgage of approximately $800,000.00. Her response kind of says it all:

Mr. Flude. You truly must think people are stupid, and your explanation is insulting. After receiving your response I read everything Ironside posted about you and I watched all of his company's videos. His work is clean well produced and professional, unlike your accusations that appear vacuous unsupported and offensive to the intelligence of other people. If he was what you claim he would not be putting his name on his work, and you would have sued him a long time ago as he openly taunts you to do more times than I could count. I even went back to watch some of his other videos. The man has credentials from work all over the world and he was selected for an award for altruism in Barrie. nonetheless, you paint him as simply an agitator. You insult me sir as you do anybody to whom you tell that lie. You also fail to mention that those people he - agitated - all lost to his eviednce and several were convicted or fined as criminals. That means he was right, and it is why you will not fight him in court.. Have you watched any of the videos he has produced for the hundreds of charities that are not about your company? I doubt it, but I did. Not all 300 plus of them, but enough. He has worked with everybody from multiple mayors to the chiefs of police. That is one well-connected agitator. I once worked in the courts many years ago and clearly, your agitator is somebody who stands up as we all wish we could. I read through your cover story like you are stamped on tracing paper. As you can see I have copied this email in full to your agitator and i am granting Mr. Ironside my consent to use it as he wishes. I think he is doing a damned good job exposing you and your agents and I would even be happy to chat with him on camera. I am ever so glad I found his reporting about your business. I will also be asking if he can recommend an honest broker. Do not insult me again by trying to whitewash your actions. I will advise my friend of what I have learned and I doubt they will be coming to you for any renewals. i admit I have been angered by your deceptive response as i do not like being lied to. A desire to understand the truth is why we are receiving frequent emails and messages from potential clients, other Verico brokers, competitors, and even lenders, because the lies just aren't adding up.

In truth, as can be seen by all, Five Points Media is a not-for-profit, social enterprise, media service that has donated more than $700,000.00 in skilled labour and production facilities to our community by providing, free of charge, at least 350 videos to more than 180 charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent community groups. That led, in 2020, to our team being nominated and voted to the highest levels for an award for altruism that was presented by the City of Barrie and the Barrie Chamber of Commerce. We also have a hard-earned reputation for taking on corruption and assisting average Canadians who cannot fight the wealthy to secure their rights.

That kind of documented philanthropic history is not conducive to the image of a 'serial agitator', which is why those we are reporting about in this exposé documentary will not stand up to defend their actions.

On one side you have a team that is dedicated to their community in which they actively help and support every benevolent group that comes to them for assistance. On the other, you have untrustworthy brokers who have all admitted to committing fraud by usury against a senior and veteran (Renee Dadswell), (Lisa Purchase), (David Flude), then lied six times in two emails (Email 1) (Email 2) to evade investigation by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), then hid for 18 months to evade having to answer for their actions, then 'motivated' an officer of the local South Simcoe Police Service to omit evidence and falsify calculations, and then 'threatened' our producer and specifically our twenty-something-year-old interns and apprentices with an unscrupulous Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation (SLAPP) lawsuit through a lame, legally unsupported, do-it-yourself allegation of libel that we so fully debunked, the anonymous writer representing the interests of the multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations lost the courage to file the claim in any court throughout the past 106 days. They won't stand, they won't disprove our claims, they won't meet to discuss the facts and evidence, they choose instead to hide and wallow in denial, but they want you to trust them with what will likely be the biggest purchase of your life that could dramatically affect your financial future and that of your family.
