The video shows how even in a country where the people have greater rights, legal action can and will shut down those who are defaming others, regardless of how wealthy and well-connected they may be.

Regardless of our nearly two years of exposure of criminal abuses including loan sharking, and ethical breaches of trust for which they certainly should know they are guilty, David Flude, Renee Dadswell, and Lisa Purchase, the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, and their allies W. Mark Squire, President and Chief Operating Officer, Verico Financial Group Inc. and Yvonne Ziomecki-Fisher, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales of HomeEquity Bank, have failed to muster the courage to take any civil action to silence our telling of this fact-driven and evidence supported story. Every day, more people ask us why these multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations have been too intimidated to move forward on their threats to sue us, and why they have not sought injunctive relief to prohibit us from telling this story, as they threatened to do. At the very least, why have they not agreed to meet through a without prejudice meeting to discuss the accuracy of our content? They have threatened us with civil action, from behind the veil of anonymity, and they have claimed to be assured of being granted injunctive relief because their unidentified anonymous agent claimed we are defaming them by telling the truth and supporting our claims with evidence. However, almost five months later, they have not shown the courage to file a claim in any court of law, or to seek injunctive relief. We have always been open with our evidence, while all they can do is huff, puff, and bluff, and we have backed up every claim through cross-linking between pages of content.

Telling the truth, no matter how embarrassing, costly, and exposing it becomes, is not defamation and factual reporting is never grounds for civil action.

We have exposed through evidence inappropriate financially motivated bias, demonstrated by detectives of the South Simcoe Police Service who brazenly cut and crafted whatever evidence they needed to ensure the singular goal of protecting the multi-million-dollar loan sharks at Verico the Mortgage Station. In that light, we have repeatedly reported on how detectives omitted key financial documentation as evidence and how they falsified figures. We have also clearly stated similar bias is apparent on the part of Simcoe County Council. Regardless, neither of those official organizations has so much as written an angry letter to us or replied in any way to our concerns.

If we were lying, or if we could not support our allegations, we would have been served with a civil claim or even a criminal notice to appear, instead of spending our days listening to crickets.

Journalists do not make allegations of this nature against law-enforcement and municipal government without having the evidence to back up their claims. Our possession of that evidence is the only viable reason why neither official organization has taken any action to silence the truth. We also have a hard-earned reputation for challenging abuses of authority by police and politicians and for winning every time based solely on the evidence. The last thing these officials want is to be summoned to court to testify against our evidence, which they know will happen if they try to abuse the authority of the court through an unscrupulous, Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation (SLAPP) lawsuit, which are intended solely to bully in favour of the wealthy or influential, and which have been scorned by the Supreme Court of Canada.

Court action is based on evidence, which benefit us, and it explains why the brokers, their allies, and the county level officials have taken no action, regardless of their tried and failed tactics of 'intimidation'.

During any kind of abuse of our civil or criminal systems of justice, as has been proposed but never acted upon by the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station through their anonymous agent, our Producer would be well within his rights to summons anybody connected to the case who he feels have twisted reality or abused their position to assist the multi-million-dollar brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, regardless of their reasons. That list would include David Flude, Renee Dadswell, and Lisa Purchase, the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, and their allies W. Mark Squire, President and Chief Operating Officer, Verico Financial Group Inc., and Yvonne Ziomecki-Fisher, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales of HomeEquity Bank. It would also include Detective Constable Jason Muto who omitted key evidence and falsified figures to provide an escape route for the loan sharks, and also Chief John Van Dyke and Inspector Julio Fernandes, both of the South Simcoe Police Service, who ignored the crime before trying to brush aside the indictable offence that carries with it a prison sentence of up to five years, and then disregarded a letter from our Producer a highly experienced international journalist and former private investigator, in which he clearly detailed the errors and assumptions of the fraudulent financial investigation. He would also be within his rights to summons any or all of Simcoe County Council who ignored the crimes being committed against seniors in their county. He would also summons Katherine Dudtschak, the new President and pending CEO of HomeEquity Bank, as the corporation she now leads refused and continues to refuse to investigate the crime of usury, or loan sharking, that was committed by agents working on their behalf while brokering a mortgage.

Evidence presented that the courts are being abused to protect multi-million and multi-billion-dollar companies as well as county officials is also exactly what will draw the attention of major mainstream media outlets.

As is outlined in the MSNBC news report provided, if the legal advocates of the United States, who are much more liberated with regards to freedom of speech, have the authority to close media outlets that they can show have been abusive, you can be assured the same is true in Canada. However, almost two years later, nobody from Verico the Mortgage Station, Verico Financial Group Inc., HomeEquity Bank, the South Simcoe Police Service, or Simcoe County Council have found legally supportable cause to take any kind of civil or criminal action against us for reporting the truth of this story. There is only one viable reason why the the multi-million-dollar brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station and their multi-million and multi-billion-dollar allies at Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank have so far failed to muster the courage to 'protect' their 'good' names by facing our evidence.

Multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations do not hide from a self-financed, not-profit-motivated, social enterprise community media service unless there is a damned good reason.

The reason for their collective faltering at the gate was best explained by a single mother named 'Elizabeth', a potential new client for Verico the Mortgage Station who was referred by another client when she started looking into moving to Simcoe County from Toronto. Her business, and a commission of about $8,000.00, were lost to David Flude, the Principal Broker, after she found our reports and videos, who chose to lie to her about the man his brokers had defrauded, by claiming the philanthropist and altruist was simply 'an agitator' who was 'disgruntled'.

Those lies did not convince 'Elizabeth', as can be seen in her response noted here:

After receiving your response I read everything Ironside posted about you and I watched all of his company's videos. His work is clean well produced and professional, unlike your accusations that appear vacuous unsupported and offensive to the intelligence of other people. If he was what you claim he would not be putting his name on his work, and you would have sued him a long time ago as he openly taunts you to do more times than I could count. I even went back to watch some of his other videos. The man has credentials from work all over the world and he was selected for an award for altruism in Barrie. nonetheless, you paint him as simply an agitator. You insult me sir as you do anybody to whom you tell that lie. You also fail to mention that those people he - agitated - all lost to his eviednce and several were convicted or fined as criminals. That means he was right, and it is why you will not fight him in court.. Have you watched any of the videos he has produced for the hundreds of charities that are not about your company? I doubt it, but I did. Not all 300 plus of them, but enough. He has worked with everybody from multiple mayors to the chiefs of police. That is one well-connected agitator. As Elizabeth noted, David Flude must think people are stupid, and his explanation is insulting.

People can see the truth, that we are not the 'serial agitators' that David Flude made up to convince the potential new client to hire him so he could collect a commission of about $8,000.00 on her mortgage. It would also not go unnoticed by a Justice of the High Court, that David Flude lied repeated to and about our Producer , and all so he could evade his professional responsibilities. In truth, as can be seen by all, Five Points Media is a not-for-profit, social enterprise, media service that has donated more than $700,000.00 in skilled labour and production facilities to our community by providing, free of charge, at least 350 videos to more than 180 charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent community groups. That commitment to our community led, in 2020, to our team being nominated and voted to the highest levels for an award for altruism that was presented by the City of Barrie and the Barrie Chamber of Commerce. We also have a hard-earned reputation for taking on corruption and assisting average Canadians who cannot fight the wealthy to secure their rights. Also, David Flude falls back on deception so freely we just stopped believing anything he said, as is demonstrated by how he lied six times in two emails (Email 1) (Email 2) to evade investigation for usury by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA).

As 'Elizabeth' noted in her email, throughout the past year, we have openly taunted the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station and their allies at Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank to initiate civil action. They 'threatened' us with a civil claim for damages and a demand for injunctive relief that they say they are sure to win; however, despite the huff, puff, and bluff, they have never found the courage to file their claim with any court. From our visitor logs it appears they have tried to retain multiple lawyers without success, which speaks volumes as to the credibility of their claims. Regardless, they will not exercise their right to challenge our fully supported allegations that they deceptively call libel, and they are apparently terrified to face the evidence of their crimes and ethical abuses that they know will prove our allegations under the scrutiny of the Superior Court, which cannot again be contested in any court other than through an appeal based on a valid error in law. That will leave the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station and potentially their allies open to civil litigation for various crimes and breaches of trust.

While our not-for-profit community channel makes no attempt to hide, the multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations lurk in the shadows, refusing to take action to silence our fully supported allegations.
