Last night, in a post by a very respected Simcoe County charitable organisation that helps the homeless community, the leader noted the following about our Producer. The public post can be found here.

“Heartfelt thanks to our awesome outreach volunteers Ashleigh and John for going above and beyond tonight and staying with our friend at hospital till she felt comfortable. You being there and advocating for her made the difference between her staying and getting the care she needed or leaving the hospital before getting the help she needed. This is how we care for each other. We have a beautiful team!”

An altruist who spends hours in a hospital helping a stranger make it through tough times is hardly how David Flude described him when lying to a client.

It is little wonder why people are seeing clearly who is telling the truth and who is lying. On one side you have a philanthropist who donates dozens of hours every week to help those in the most need, and who has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of service to hundreds of charities, not-for-profit organizations, and benevolent community groups, and who was nominated and voted to the highest levels for a city-wide award for altruism. On the other, you have a repetitive liar, who hid for months to avoid accountability, and who will NOT come out of the shadows to explain his actions and those of his brokers or defend against our allegations in court. One potential client for the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station said it well:

“Mr. Flude. You truly must think people are stupid, and your explanation is insulting.”

Those who know they have done wrong, such as David Flude, Renee Dadswell, and Lisa Purchase, the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, and their allies W. Mark Squire, President and Chief Operating Officer, Verico Financial Group Inc. and Yvonne Ziomecki-Fisher, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales of HomeEquity Bank, continue to wallow in denial of their situation, and apparently they still believe they can lie their way out of their responsibilities.

We know this because we are told they continue to lie about who our Producer is, and why they are the focus of an exposé documentary about mortgage fraud in Canada.

In an email dated October 26, 2023, David Flude, the “ethically bound” Principal Broker at Verico the Mortgage Station bold-faced lied to a prospective new female client by claiming the following about our Producer :

“The info you and everyone else can see is from a repeat serial agitator. He has been to court numerous times against neighbours, local politicians and we have had nothing but support from our mortgage associates. I will never give out personal info but will say simply - this person will NOT take the complaint to our regulator (FSRA) because there is nothing there . . . There is nothing aside from a severely disgruntled individual trying to promote his own business. There were multiple police investigators who reviewed this too. Again, nothing.”

There was no evidence or any kind of corroboration because every claim made by David Flude was an unethical vacuous lie that was supported by zero evidentiary substance.

David Flude conveniently 'forgot' to mention that he outright lied to our Producer six times in two emails (Email 1) (Email 2) to evade investigation by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), and that he turned a blind eye to the indictable offence of usury, or loan sharking, that was being committed by his brokers. After she called him out as a repetitive liar and supporting the truth of our reports and videos, 'Elizabeth' told the Principal Broker at Verico the Mortgage Station that she would be taking her business of a mortgage of $800,000.00, and the broker commission of about $8,000.00, to another broker. 1. the detectives of the South Simcoe Police Service refused to review the evidence and left it on a shelf for a full year.
2. the detectives of the South Simcoe Police Service performed at best a half-ass 'investigation’ through which they listened only to the multi-million-dollar brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station and did not even contact our our Producer, the victim of the crime.
3. the detectives of the South Simcoe Police Service only went that far in the 'performance' of their duties because we complained to the Mayor and Council of Innisfil, which again has never been contested.
4. the detectives of the South Simcoe Police Service omitted key evidence and falsified figures to ensure that the multi-million dollar brokerage skated on a claim of ‘insufficient evidence’ even after our Producer advised them using clear math and independent calculators that their methodology was ‘mistaken’.

That is a rather large series of realities for an ‘ethical’ Professional to omit from his version of events, which is why Verico the Mortgage Station and their allies refuse to defend against our allegations in a court of law.

People can see the truth, that we are not the 'serial agitators' that David Flude made up to convince the potential new client to hire him so he could collect a commission of about $8,000.00 on her mortgage. In truth, as can be seen by all, Five Points Media is a not-for-profit, social enterprise, media service that has donated more than $700,000.00 in skilled labour and production facilities to our community by providing, free of charge, at least 350 videos to more than 180 charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent community groups. That led, in 2020, to our team being nominated and voted to the highest levels for an award for altruism that was presented by the City of Barrie and the Barrie Chamber of Commerce. We also have a hard-earned reputation for taking on corruption and assisting average Canadians who cannot fight the wealthy to secure their rights.

People see there is a good reason why David Flude will not justify loan sharking through an on-camera video, or even at a without prejudice meeting, and he will not contest our evidence in court.
