Loan Sharks Bring Harm to the Community - Verico the Mortgage Station
Today, July 20, 2024, the Teddy bears of South Simcoe will once again be marching to the beat of fun, as children from across the region play, dance, parade with their stuffed buddies, and have a great day with their families and new friends. We are showing this because videos like this one, which we produced about the first picnic held two years ago, is exactly the kind of service that we donated to every charity, not-for-profit, and benevolent group that asked, but which we can no longer provide due to the actions of the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station, and because of the decisions by their allies at Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank who have covered for their crimes these past two years.
Our services save memories for the children and parents and enable long distance grandparents to be part of the fun, while also promoting the charity. Regardless, it was evidently more important for Renee Dadswell to line her pockets with money skimmed through loan sharking, for which Lisa Purchase needed to set up the mark, which drained resources from our not-for-profit social enterprise that charged nothing to charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent community groups.
Our services save memories for the children and parents and enable long distance grandparents to be part of the fun, while also promoting the charity.
Does it get any sleazier or more reprehensible than robbing multiple generations of families of cherished memories because as a 'trusted financial professional' you defrauded a philanthropist by loan sharking?
Apparently, to David Flude, the Principal Broker at Verico the Mortgage Station, W. Mark Squire, the President and CEO of Verico Financial Group Inc., and Katherine Dudtschak, the new President and CEO of HomeEquity Bank, families simply don't matter, and nor does the community. All they seem to care about is evading responsibility for causing or doing nothing to help prevent the closure of a fully donated service that donated services to any charity, not-for-profit, and benevolent community group that asked for help.
What kind of a 'trustworthy financial professional' steals from seniors and veterans, defunds a benevolent community service, and then hides for more than two years, refusing to even discuss their actions?
Last year, in October of 2023, the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station made a big media event out of putting a garbage can on their front porch where other people could drop food for the local Food Bank. They weren't paying for the food, but simply providing a drop point. That need for dramatic recognition for doing the smallest amount for others showed the level of commitment to their community when compared to our ten years of ongoing contributions. During that time, our team has donated more than $700,000.00 in services to local charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent groups, and we have never sought a public media pat on the back. When Katherine Dudtschak first came to the HomeEquity Bank, we showed her due respect as somebody who, according to mainstream media reports, was a philanthropist, social activist, and supporter of her community. However, Katherine Dudtschak has now had nearly two months to review the facts and evidence but has done nothing to confront the criminal activity of the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station or the likely criminal level of collusion undertaken by the board of directors of the HomeEquity Bank. So, what does that say about the apparently fake persona of Katherine Dudtschak, and the reality of who she truly seems to be? Could she have met with our Producer or discussed the evidence on the phone? Could she have called for an independent review of how this matter has been handled by the board of directors of the HomeEquity Bank? Could she have ordered a complaints review persuant to the corporate policies of her own bank? Of course she could, but she simply chose not to, which means she must be NOTHING like the woman she pretends to be for the public and mainstream media.
It has been our experience from donating services to various regional Pride groups, and also to the transgender community, that most anatomical men who choose to transition to women also lose the 'need' to be a dick.
There is a damned good reason why these multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations have taken no action to silence us through civil litigation or through an application for injunctive relief. It is the same reason why it appeared that for several months David Flude experienced great difficulty in finding a lawyer who would accept his retainer. Finally, it is the same reason why David Flude, while hiding behind anonymity, sent to us a lame DIY threat of civil action that would have had to be filed with the court as a reprehensible Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation (SLAPP) litigation that have been slapped down hard by the Supreme Court. Our clarification of that reality then caused David Flude to back down and to never file any claim after receiving our thorough, legally supported, and brutal response.
It is the right of every Canadian to tell the truth about any issue or person, and those who abuse the civil courts to silence the truth about their own criminal or ethical wrongdoings face costs, scorn, and greater exposure.
No multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporation that has done no wrong would hesitate to silence our small, not-for-profit, social enterprise, community media service, and they certainly would not have issues retaining council. Lawyers are not known for turning down supported claims of libel or defamation, but they are quick to decline representation when they find out their prospective client is far from innocent and that the public allegations against them are accurate and fair. Normal, healthy-minded people do not rob seniors, nor take or deny actions that hurt children, or make unavailable to their community the charity of a much-needed service that is recognised by the community in general for their altruism. The fact that none of these corrupt corporations has had the courage to challenge our claims, now more than two years established, shows that we are reporting the truth, and we have the evidence to back up our claims. They have good reason to hide, which they have done for more than two years, because there is no other path available to them, other than to hope vainly that we will just go away. Their collective lack of character is also demonstrated by their inability to understand the harm they have done, or refused to prevent, regarding the near closure of our services to the community that was caused by their actions.
Character is not something that is manufactured through commercial media reports, but is demonstrated through actions, genuine sacrifice, and an ongoing pattern of caring and giving without expectation of reward.
