Mining for Keys, but Digging Up Grubs - Verico the Mortgage Station
It is the pinnacle of cowardice to break the law by stealing from your trusting client, and then to breach your ethics by refusing to abide by the regulatory requirements that compel you to meet with them, and then to hide from your responsibilities for more than two years. It is also embarrassing to everybody when the exposed thieves try to threaten their victim, but then turn and run away when their target of bullying not only holds their ground, but publicly exposes the true nature of cowardice behind the grandiose but vacuous threats. Remember, this is a story of three multi-million and multi-billion-dollar corporations being afraid to challenge a small, not-for-profit, social enterprise, community media service.
How much longer will their billion-dollar buddies wallow in the muck to support obvious criminals?
Throughout the past few weeks, we have had hundreds of strangers wandering through our online digital residences, plodding along like a pack of blind moles clawing the grass for grubs. They are there, day and night, lurking in the darkness, peeking through our windows, evidently looking for some key they think they can use to coerce us to just let them get away with their indictable offences and multiple breaches of trust. The constant nature of these visits would suggest that they are hopeful to find something . . . anything . . . before somebody who has been their ally takes long overdue action to protect their own future best interests.
Sorry desperate interlopers, but we removed the nuclear codes from our websites 😉
It is not like this would be the first time, as David Flude tried to coerce our Producer to drop the story based on a bizarre belief that because one specific very Conservative judge did not order costs after we proved a Conservative muckraker was a vexatious litigant, a civil claim by him would automatically win in court. In an act of total self-delusion, he chose to completely ignore that in that same case, another judge of no fixed political allegiance ordered $5,000 in costs in favour of our Producer payable by that same abuser of our civil court system.
Talk about a fishing expedition, and they are trying it again.
We have made no secret that we can monitor who visits our website, where they are located, how long they have visited, and where they went next. It is a common feature of commercial website hosting. We have also been open about knowing when we have been visited by David Flude, Renee Dadswell, and Lisa Purchase, the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, and their allies W. Mark Squire, President and Chief Operating Officer, Verico Financial Group Inc. and Yvonne Ziomecki-Fisher, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales of HomeEquity Bank.
We are not the ones who have felt the need to hide and harbour secrets for more than two years.
Despite his huff, puff, and bluff, David Flude, the Principal Broker at Verico the Mortgage Station has demonstrated throughout the past almost six months that despite his threats, made while cowering behind the persona of an anonymous nom de plume, he and his brokers and allies are not willing to stand up in court and refute our allegations. If they did, and we have asked them to do so, the issues would be resolved by an order of a Justice of the High Court who would review the evidence and conclude based on the facts that Renee Dadswell committed the indictable offence of usury or loan sharking and is therefore accountable for punishment which could result in a prison sentence of up to five years.
The simple fact that David Flude claims we are defaming him, his brokers, and his multi-million-dollar corporation but won't take his claims before a Justice of the High Court should speak volumes.
He knows from our researched response to his vacuous threats and blather that any trial will afford us the opportunity to summon all parties and compel them to testify to the facts, against our evidence, much of which they have no idea we have compiled. This would include the investigating detective of the South Simcoe Police Service who knowingly fudged the figures and omitted official bank and brokerage documents from the evidence so he could give the multi-million-dollar brokers a get out of jail free card for usury, or loan sharking. We would also likely summon his bosses, Chief John Van Dyke and Inspector Julio Fernandes, who were both provided with details of the crimes committed and the cover up that followed. We can only imagine what the multi-million-dollar corporation used to motivate the detective to help them.
The South Simcoe Police likely never dreamed that we would expose the sham investigation, never mind release two videos, but our evidence is holding back any other 'motivated' officers from abusing their authority.
Instead of taking the honourable route to resolution, like true ethical professionals, the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station or other brokers working under the flag of Verico Financial Group Inc. or hired third parties are visiting hundreds of random pages of our websites, including those not associated with this documentary, and always from behind a proxy server for anonymity. They spend their time with us poking around various pages looking for something, anything, they apparently hope they can use as a key to show some secret or damning evidence of how we dared to help our community through the donation of more than $700,000,00 in services through the production and donation of greater than 350 videos, to 180 plus charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent community groups who asked for help. Oh, the horror of our wicked ways!!
Why they believe there could be some deep dark secret on our website, or why anybody would leave something like that in such public view, is beyond our comprehension.
The brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station stole from us, and they know we can prove it, and their allies at Verico Financial Group Inc. and HomeEquity Bank chose to turn a blind eye and help to cover it up. They have chosen for two years to ignore their own regulatory requirements, and now as a result, far more people know about their dishonour and criminal nature than would ever have been the case if they had simply done the right thing from the beginning. From the dozens of emails and messages we have received from people thanking us for warning them, one open example of which can be found here, we can calculate that these supposed financial specialists have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential income, and all they got from us is a few hundred dollars in grift from loan sharking. The severity of those losses was confirmed by David Flude while he hid behind his anonymous nom de plume:
Your claims of increased exposure only increases the damage you have caused and thereby increases your liabilities. It is noted in this story that you are claiming to have reached 750,000 people.
You have until January 5, 2024, to remove the defamatory statements and to post a retraction. In addition, given the repeated nature of your defamatory statements and effort you have made to contract third parties, you are required to contact each third party and retract your statements. Finally, you are required to publish a statement from the Station and from Station Brokers. These are the minimum steps you are required to take in order to mitigate the damages you have caused.
Failure to comply will result in a claim against you and all your agents who have been a party to the defamation. Furthermore, we will seek an injunction to ensure you comply.
We responded by calling out David Flude for his tantrum and openly challenging him to sue us and to prove his whining based on evidence in a court of law, yet six months later, we still hear nothing but crickets.
The reason we are producing this documentary is not money, but to warn other potential senior clients who are finding our reports and videos and sharing them with their friends, despite attempts by HomeEquity Bank to silence this story through unethical and illegal means of censorship. We have, however, managed to raise a significant budget, most of which was provided by people and companies with an interest in this story. As a result, we have been able to set aside part of it to reactivate the not-for-profit, social enterprise, community channel of Five Points Media, through which we have helped so many charities, not-for-profits, and benevolent community groups. We had been forced to essentially close those services due primarily to the drag it out delays used by Lisa Purchase to set up our Producer who she and Renee Dadswell scammed as part of the plot to set him up for loan sharking.
Now they are exposed and under the watchful eye of the many and can no longer take advantage of seniors by abusing ill placed trust, and their current demeaning 'tactic' of grovelling for grubs stinks of desperation.
After two full years, David Flude has done NOTHING to defend the name and professional reputation of his business, or those of the allies who stepped up to defend him at great cost. He has also taken no action to disprove our fully supported allegations of loan sharking and fraud, which he has likely misrepresented to those who helped him. Now he and his allies are facing greater exposure as our placement on the search engines is currently so prominent that you cannot type into Google any of the individuals or corporations involved without our story popping up prominently. Finally, as Katherine Dudtschak is the new President and pending CEO of HomeEquity Bank, David Flude could see some changes coming that he won't like. Not everybody is driven by ego, and some people, due usually to their life experience, better understand the nature of a narcissist or pathological liar. Katherin Dudtschak is not ego-invested with regards to the original crime and the two years since.
To an analytical mind, deciphering the truth of this story should require nothing more than a comparison of claims, evidence, and character, like media fact-checking one of Trump's fictitious claims speeches.
David Flude claims that our Producer , a respected philanthropist suddenly turned one day into somebody who David Flude described to a client as an 'agitator', and supposedly just suddenly started lying about being cheated by the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, while freely dispensing very incriminating evidence to support his allegations. Meanwhile, the 'victim', David Flude won't take the matter to a civil claim or seek injunctive relief based on whatever evidence he claims to possess but won't share. Katherine Dudtschak does not have a dog in this fight, other than to end the exposure and threat of mainstream media taking the leap over the multi-billion-dollar risk of litigation, and if she follows the path of logic, and analysis of the evidence before her, she will likely come to the same conclusion as Elizabeth, a prospective client who came to David Flude on referral seeking a mortgage of $800,000.00, but chose to go to another brokerage based on our reports and videos, and the lies she said were told to her by David Flude. The full email is here, but Elizabeth's final comments ripped into David Flude like a lioness taking down a gazelle on the Serengeti.
"Mr. Flude. You truly must think people are stupid, and your explanation is insulting. After receiving your response I read everything Ironside posted about you and I watched all of his company's videos. His work is clean well produced and professional, unlike your accusations that appear vacuous unsupported and offensive to the intelligence of other people. If he was what you claim he would not be putting his name on his work, and you would have sued him a long time ago as he openly taunts you to do more times than I could count. I even went back to watch some of his other videos. The man has credentials from work all over the world and he was selected for an award for altruism in Barrie. nonetheless, you paint him as simply an agitator. You insult me sir as you do anybody to whom you tell that lie. You also fail to mention that those people he - agitated - all lost to his eviednce and several were convicted or fined as criminals. That means he was right, and it is why you will not fight him in court.. Have you watched any of the videos he has produced for the hundreds of charities that are not about your company? I doubt it, but I did. Not all 300 plus of them, but enough. He has worked with everybody from multiple mayors to the chiefs of police. That is one well-connected agitator. I once worked in the courts many years ago and clearly, your agitator is somebody who stands up as we all wish we could. I read through your cover story like you are stamped on tracing paper. As you can see I have copied this email in full to your agitator and i am granting Mr. Ironside my consent to use it as he wishes. I think he is doing a damned good job exposing you and your agents and I would even be happy to chat with him on camera. I am ever so glad I found his reporting about your business. I will also be asking if he can recommend an honest broker. Do not insult me again by trying to whitewash your actions. I will advise my friend of what I have learned and I doubt they will be coming to you for any renewals. i admit I have been angered by your deceptive response as i do not like being lied to. I do not want to hear back from you again. E."The full email can be found here.
The allies can also see that the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station, who claim defamation, are not acting against us, and they understand that the answer why is obvious, and supported by viewing our articles.
People also understand that only the guilty hide, and when it comes to multi-million and multi-billion-dollar companies, there is no reason they would not retain counsel to represent them against a small, not-for-profit, community media service unless they know they are guilty, and that we can prove it. In a letter dated June 11, 2024, our Producer , not hiding behind a nom-de-plum, wrote to Katherin Dudtschak offering to meet and discuss how HomeEquity Bank could if not eliminate, at least limit their exposure in this story. They are not without responsibility as they had an obligation to review the complaint of their client that they chose to ignore, but they could limit collateral damage to their reputation by cutting ties with Verico the Mortgage Station and denouncing the crimes they committed.
They know the truth as they have the evidence so there is no downside to them making such a decision.
Based on their previously mutually beneficial business arrangement, Verico the Mortgage Station could also push Verico Financial Group Inc. to engage in a house cleaning of their various brokerages to see if similar crimes have or are being undertaken elsewhere in their network. As we are not going anywhere until this matter is resolved, and as our viewership and search engine rankings are forever climbing, a corporate policy of 'out with the old and in with the new' can only help them. Katherin Dudtschak has, to the best of our knowledge, done nothing wrong. She enters this scenario clean, and it is in her best interests to stay that way. If she chooses to do nothing, so be it. However, by her own inaction, every day, more of the harm caused by fraud to seniors will stick to her, and her own choices would cause a dirtying of her hard-earned reputation. The ongoing story can also only harm the corporation she leads. Steven Ranson may have chosen to back the brokers, and then found himself trapped in a situation that could not be resolved by the usual corporate litany of threats and deception. How do you sue a philanthropist with extensive support within his community, who is telling the truth and holds all the evidence, and who has been very successful in defeating in court and exposing in the media exactly that kind of abusive civil litigation?
No matter what they do, pursuant to the rules of court, they will lose and be humiliated.
During the past few months, our various websites have been visited by dozens of lawyers and law firms that were evidently contacted by the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station to review our reports and videos pending being retained to take some kind of civil action. For whatever reasons, they all cut and ran never to return, and all it took was reviewing one article on our Five Points Media website. In it, we included the details of how we caused the lawyer for a slumlord about whom we were reporting to cut and run after she threatened us with litigation and injunctive relief, which is exactly what David Flude said he was going to definitely win against us in court, at least until he failed to find the courage to file the claim, which has been the case for almost six months.
The directors of HomeEquity Bank know lawyers do not often turn down retainers, and maybe it might be time to reconsider being tied to this sinking ship.
The third-party companies that got dragged into this by the greed, irresponsibility, and self-absorbed nature of the brokers at Verico the Mortgage Station likely NEVER expected this story to continue for as long as it has, or that, due mostly to the work of our allies, has grown so much as to occupy every relevant name reference on Google. The hiring of Katherin Dudtschak, who sits on the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee of United Way, Toronto, and on the board of directors for Jack.org, and the Museum of Human Rights, should not face having her reputation marred or sullied because of the decision of her predecessor who for whatever reason continue to support small town brokers who he knew committed an indictable offence by loan sharking, who 'motivated' a young detective of the South Simcoe Police Service to provide them with an escape route from prosecution, and who were very willing to throw HomeEquity Bank under the bus as they dragged out the lending process to hook their mark to 'accept' a lending rate of 198.25%.
Nobody but a detective who had been 'motivated' to see things in a way that would protect the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station would see 198.25% in interest and fees as anything but an indictable offence.
In about a week, Katherin Dudtschak will take over fully as President and CEO of HomeEquity Bank. As such, we should all know reasonably soon if she will cut loose from those who have dragged down the reputation of the corporation she now captains, or if she will toe the line, join the old boys club, and perpetuate the harm that was caused by the decision by her management team to cover for the brokers of Verico the Mortgage Station who defrauded a senior and veteran, and almost shut down a benevolent community service that has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations, as well as generate public awareness, for every charity, not-for-profit, and benevolent community group that has reached out to them.
If Katherine Dudtschak is truly anything resembling the ethical and socially responsible person she portrays herself to be, there is only one possible course to follow when dealing with these unethical brokers who loan shark seniors and veterans, while draining essential capital needed to help charities.
As for the midnight stalkers who slither across the various pages of this story, and the hundreds of counterparts that make up our benevolent social enterprise, maybe in the interest of you getting some sleep tonight, you might consider trying to come up with a real resolution to your problem, rather than looking for a magical key you seem to think is hidden in our cyberspace back forty that simply does not exist. We have offered multiple times to meet for an on-camera interview, and to meet for a structured without prejudice meeting. Those offers can be made available again. You are accomplishing nothing by doing nothing, other than perhaps causing more people to see the truth and understand that no legitimate multi-million or multi-billion-dollar company is afraid of a small, not-for-profit, social enterprise media service, and that the only thing that would keep your lawyers at bay is that the evidence is enough to ensure that civil action would increase exposure, and leave all three companies open to scrutiny and even charges by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) or the OPP.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, such as hiding for two years straight, and expecting different results, which is simply not going to happen because we and our evidence are not going anywhere.
